The 10K Muffin Monster is a compact yet powerful grinder that reduces the size of potentially damaging solids to downstream equipment. The dual-shafted grinder uses low speed and high torque to shred a wide range of difficult sewage debris. The 10K Muffin Monster inline pipe configuration is available with 100 mm and 150 mm pipe flange diameters with flow rates up to 125 m³/hr. The 10K Muffin Monster open channel configuration has a cutter opening height of 185 mm with a flow rate of up to 41.4 m³/hr.

Sulzer offers a complete solution for handling the challenge of the increased volume of tough solids in wastewater with the Muffin Monster grinder and its innovative pump technology. The combination ensures trouble-free operation of pump stations and other critical operations.

Sulzer has been selected by Shell to supply pumps for its major new biofuel facility under construction in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Sulzer’s pumps will support critical processes at the facility, including providing boiler feedwater to drive the steam turbine generator.

The Sulzer Board of Directors has decided to initiate the process of exiting the Russian market.

As part of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques, captured CO2 emissions that have been converted into supercritical CO2 are pumped into depleted oil reservoirs to push the remaining oil to the riser, allowing much higher recovery rates.

Sulzer is forced to wind down its two entities in Poland following a decision on an interpretation of the Polish sanction regulations, which were recently unilaterally introduced by Poland. Sulzer reiterates that it is not affected by any other sanctions and is free to develop its business globally.

CEO Frédéric Lalanne stated: “We continue to grow profitably, confirming the good momentum in demand in many industries. In an increasingly challenging and volatile market environment, we are tracking ahead of our expectations and are well positioned to capture further growth opportunities in our key markets.”

In a move to expand Sulzer’s footprint in India and support one of India’s key industrial hubs, the company has opened a new state-of-the-art service center in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. The facility will widen the availability of high-quality services for rotating equipment in India.
